Red Wing School District 256

The Red Wing school district lies along the Mississippi River and serves approximately 3200 students. The districts main offices are located in Red Wing, Minnesota and includes two elementary schools, a middle school, high school and an alternative high school. Kindergarten through fifth grade students attend classes at one of the district's two grade level centers: Burnside Elementary or Sunnyside Elementary. Sunnyside is the primary grade level center serving children from kindergarten through grade two; Burnside Elementary serves children grades three through five.
